The Canon RF 16mm F2.8 STM is an ultra-wide-angle prime lens designed for Canon RF-mount full-frame mirrorless cameras. It delivers a 16 mm focal length with a bright f/2.8 maximum aperture, making it ideal for landscapes, architecture, interiors, street photography, and creative wide-angle shots. Despite its full-frame coverage, this lens is extremely compact and lightweight (≈165 g) — so small you can leave it on your camera all day. It uses a stepping motor (STM) for quiet and smooth autofocus, which is also great for video. The lens has a minimum focus distance of 0.13 m and offers up to 0.26× magnification for dramatic close-up wide-angle perspectives
